Gubbels Plantiva is a young organization with a strong foundation in professional horticulture. As a young division of the family business Gubbels Group, we build on over 50 years of experience in raising plants for open-field cultivation. Our backgroundfor three generations
The roots of Gubbels Plantiva lie in a true horticultural family. For three generations, working with plants has been central to the family business. What once began in the open field has grown into a modern greenhouse horticulture company of 45 hectares, spread across multiple locations. (33 Gubbels Paprika + 12 Gubbels Plantiva)
With Erik Gubbels as the third generation at the helm, Gubbels is characterized by a long-term vision that is reflected in everything we do: investing in people, technology, and sustainable solutions, with a focus on continuity and quality.
How we workProfessional, meticulous, and flexible
We build on over 50 years of experience in tray plant cultivation. Tray systems were chosen early on because of their advantages for root development, logistics, and plant quality. This knowledge and experience still form the basis of our working method today.
Gubbels Plantiva is highly automated and designed for efficient, clean, and reliable operations. Throughout the entire propagation process, the trays are not touched manually.
Our cultivation advisors collaborate with the grower on variety choices, planting schedules, and timing. In this way, we work together based on trust and are a full-fledged partner as well as a supplier.
With our own transport and logistical planning, we maintain control over delivery and service. This gives us extra flexibility when practical situations demand it.
Sustainablethinking and doing
Sustainability is a natural part of business operations at Gubbels Plantiva. We strive for responsible choices that contribute to future-proof cultivation and a pleasant working environment.

- Reuse and purification of water in a closed system, meeting the strictest environmental requirements.
